Description

Our GLP2-T 60mg vial holds 60mg of lyophilized GLP2-T (tirzepatide), a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, made and tested in the USA. It’s intended for lab research only.

GLP2-T (tirzepatide) at a glance

Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid peptide from Eli Lilly that activates two receptors, GIP and GLP-1. A fatty acid side chain lets it bind albumin, so its half-life is about five days. It’s approved as Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes and as Zepbound for weight management.

How GLP2-T acts in the lab

Tirzepatide activates two incretin receptors. GIP and GLP-1 are both released by the gut after eating, and both push the pancreas to release insulin when glucose is high. GLP-1 also slows stomach emptying and acts on appetite centers in the brain.

The molecule is built on the GIP sequence and tuned to hit the GLP-1 receptor as well. It leans toward GIP in binding strength. A C20 fatty diacid lets it ride on albumin, so it lasts days instead of minutes.

Published GLP2-T studies

The SURMOUNT-1 trial (New England Journal of Medicine, 2022) reported average weight loss of up to about 21% over 72 weeks at the highest dose. The SURPASS trials covered blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes.

GLP2-T 60mg vs related compounds

Here’s how GLP2-T 60mg fits among related compounds. GLP2-T adds GIP receptor activity to GLP-1, a dual agonist with larger weight effects than semaglutide in trials. By comparison:

  • GLP1-S acts on the GLP-1 receptor only and lasts about a week, the most studied compound in the group
  • GLP3-R hits GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors, the triple agonist with the biggest phase 2 numbers so far
  • Cagrilintide works through amylin receptors instead of incretins, often studied next to or with semaglutide

The main difference between these compounds is which receptors they hit. Pick the one that matches the receptor question in your study, and use the others as comparisons. See them all on our GLP-1 peptides page.

How GLP2-T 60mg is tested

We only sell U.S.-made products, and GLP2-T 60mg is no exception. Each batch is tested by an outside U.S. lab for identity, content and purity, with a 99%+ HPLC purity standard.

You don’t have to take our word for it. The certificate of analysis for the current batch is in the image gallery at the top of this page, next to the product photo, and it shows the test date and the results.

Batches are also screened for endotoxins, heavy metals and sterility. Those contaminant checks matter as much as purity for cell work, where a small amount of endotoxin can skew results.

Reconstituting GLP2-T 60mg

Concentration is the amount in the vial divided by the volume of water you add. With 60mg of powder in this vial:

  • 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 30mg/mL
  • 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 20mg/mL
  • 5mL of bacteriostatic water gives 12mg/mL

Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it.

Use sterile bacteriostatic water, like our 10mL bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll the vial gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.

GLP2-T 60mg storage and shelf life

Freeze-dried GLP2-T 60mg handles room temperature fine during shipping, but for anything longer keep it in a freezer at -20°C, away from light. Once mixed, keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and use it within about four weeks.

If you keep several vials going at once, our 10 vial container keeps them upright and together on a fridge shelf, and spare 3mL vial caps protect the stoppers once the seals are off.

Other GLP2-T strengths

  • GLP2-T 10mg: $124.00, about $12.40 per mg
  • GLP2-T 30mg: $140.00, about $4.67 per mg
  • GLP2-T 60mg (this page): $210.00, about $3.50 per mg

For longer projects GLP2-T 60mg works out cheaper per milligram than the small vial, and you’ll reorder less often.
