Description
Each of the 60 capsules in GHK-Cu capsules contains 2mg GHK-Cu. Certified Peptides makes it in the USA for lab research use.
GHK-Cu capsules contents
- GHK-Cu: 2mg per capsule, 120mg per bottle
The bottle holds 60 capsules. Multiply the per-capsule amount by 60 and you have the total for the bottle, which is handy when you’re planning how many bottles a study needs.
About GHK-Cu
GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.
It’s used widely in skin and wound research, and in cosmetic formulas.
GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.
In cell and animal studies GHK-Cu increased collagen and glycosaminoglycan production, attracted repair cells to wounds, and changed the activity of many genes involved in tissue remodeling.
Oral research with GHK-Cu
Most published work on GHK-Cu used injection or cell culture, so oral delivery is its own research question. Capsules make that question easy to set up: the amount per unit is fixed and the bottle stays stable at room temperature.
Peptides taken by mouth face stomach acid and digestive enzymes, so oral and injected results aren’t interchangeable. If you’re comparing formats, run them as separate arms and keep notes on which one each result came from.

What the research says
Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.
Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers.

Planning a study with GHK-Cu capsules
A bottle holds 60 capsules. Add up how many capsules every arm of the study uses, from first time point to last, and divide by 60 to get the number of bottles. It’s worth keeping one spare for a repeat.
Try to run a whole study from one batch. Write the batch number from the label in your notes so results can be traced back to the paperwork.
How GHK-Cu capsules are tested
Every batch of GHK-Cu capsules are made in the USA and checked by an independent U.S. lab for three things: that it’s the right compound, that the amount matches the label and that purity is 99% or better by HPLC.
Scroll through the photos at the top of the page and you’ll find the current batch’s certificate of analysis. We post the actual report, so you can check the figures yourself.
Purity isn’t the whole story, so batches are screened for endotoxins, heavy metals and sterility too. Write the batch number from the label into your notes so you can match results to the paperwork later.
How to store GHK-Cu capsules
Store GHK-Cu capsules sealed, in a cool, dry place out of direct light. A fridge is fine if you keep the lid tight so no condensation gets in. Put the lid back on straight after you take capsules out.
