What is Dihexa?
Dihexa is a small peptide-like compound from Washington State University, based on angiotensin IV. It acts on the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) receptor, c-Met.
Dihexa binds hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and helps it pair up and activate its receptor, c-Met. In the brain, the HGF/c-Met system supports new synapses and connections between neurons.
About Selank
Selank is a seven-amino-acid peptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) based on tuftsin, with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail added. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow.
Selank is based on tuftsin, a short immune peptide cut from antibodies. The Pro-Gly-Pro tail added at the end makes it more stable.
