What are hormone peptides?

Each of these compounds works on a different system. PT-141 (bremelanotide) acts on melanocortin receptors in the brain. Kisspeptin-10 triggers GnRH release at the top of the reproductive axis. HCG binds the LH receptor on ovarian and testicular cells.

Oxytocin is the nine-amino-acid hormone behind labor, milk release and social bonding, and it’s one of the most studied neuropeptides in behavior research.
