What is Pinealon?
Pinealon is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Arg from Khavinson’s bioregulator program. It’s short enough that it’s thought to reach cell nuclei.
It’s studied for neuroprotection.
How Pinealon acts in the lab
Pinealon is one of Khavinson’s ultra-short peptides, three amino acids long. The theory behind them is that peptides this small can get into the nucleus and bind DNA, changing the expression of specific genes.
In nerve cell cultures it lowered reactive oxygen species and limited cell death under stress. Russian groups have studied it in brain aging and hypoxia models.

Khavinson and colleagues reported that pinealon reduced oxidative stress in cerebellar neurons and protected rat offspring after prenatal hypoxia.

How Pinealon 20mg is tested

Reconstituting Pinealon 20mg
Concentration is the amount in the vial divided by the volume of water you add. With 20mg of powder in this vial:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 20mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 10mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 6.67mg/mL
Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it. The vial itself holds 3mL, so that’s the upper limit.
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water; we sell it in 10mL and 30mL vials. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature, add the water slowly along the glass wall and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake it.
Pinealon 20mg storage and shelf life
The dry powder keeps best cold. A freezer at -20°C is ideal for long-term storage, and a fridge works for a few weeks. After reconstitution, store it in the fridge and finish it within roughly four weeks.
