Description
The 6 vial container is a compact sliding-lid case that holds up to 6 peptide vials upright and apart. It’s branded Certified Peptides and costs $20.00, down from $30.00. Store discount codes don’t apply to this item.
What the 6 vial container is for
Peptide vials are small, round and easy to lose at the back of a fridge. Once you have more than two or three going at once, they roll, get mixed up and get knocked over. The 6 vial container gives each vial its own slot, so they stay upright and you can see every label at a glance.
It’s sized for the 3mL glass vials most of our peptides ship in, such as BPC-157 10mg, GLP3-R 30mg and GHK-Cu 100mg.
Design
The 6 vial container is a compact case with a sliding lid. Inside are six individual slots in a white insert, and the blue lid carries the Certified Peptides logo. It slides shut, so there are no hinges to break.
Which vials fit
Most of our peptides ship in 3mL vials, and those are what the 6 vial container is made for. A handful of products come in bigger vials: GLP3-R 120mg, MOTS-c 40mg, Tesamorelin 20mg and Buffered NAD+ 500mg use 5mL vials, and NAD+ 500mg, Buffered NAD+ 1000mg and Glutathione 1500mg come in 10mL vials. Those larger vials won’t sit in the slots, so keep them in the Big Everything Box, which has larger slots.
6 vial container or a different size?
Pick the 6 vial container if you usually have up to six vials going, for example one or two compounds in a small study. If your collection grows, the 10 vial container holds four more.
Lots of labs buy two: one 6 vial container for open vials in the fridge and a second for sealed spares in the freezer. That way you never have to dig through a freezer drawer to find the next vial.
Fridge organization tips
- Put the vials you’re drawing from this week at the front of the container.
- Turn every label to face the same way so you can read them without picking vials up.
- Write the reconstitution date on each label in permanent marker.
- Keep the container on a middle shelf, away from the door, where the temperature is steadier.
How labs use it
- Keep open, reconstituted vials together on one fridge shelf.
- Separate sealed vials in the freezer from open ones in the fridge.
- Group vials by study or by compound.
- Carry vials between rooms or buildings without them rolling around.
Need a different size? The 10 vial container is $25.00, and the Big Everything Box holds vials and supplies together in one latching case.
6 vial container specifications
- Capacity: 6 vials
- Fits: standard 3mL peptide vials
- Use: portable vial storage and organization
- SKU: CP-CASE-6
- Vials not included
Care
Wipe it with a damp cloth or an alcohol wipe. Let it dry before putting vials back in. It’s fine in the fridge; avoid heat sources such as dishwashers or hot cars.
Other lab supplies to go with the 6 vial container
- Bacteriostatic Water 10mL, $20.00: for reconstituting a few peptide vials
- Bacteriostatic Water 30mL (Hospira), $36.00: the larger Hospira vial for labs that mix often
- Acetic Acid Solution 0.6% (10mL), $20.00: for peptides that won’t dissolve in water
- 10 Vial Container, $25.00: keeps ten vials upright and labeled
- 3mL Vial Caps (10 Pack), $5.00: covers the stopper on open vials
- Big Everything Box (Vial Storage Case), $40.00: a latching hard case for vials and supplies
Peptide handling basics
Freeze-dried peptides are stable as long as they stay dry and cold. The trouble starts after mixing: a reconstituted peptide sits in water, and from that point heat, light, repeated punctures and bacteria all shorten its life. Good supplies don’t change the chemistry, but they make the routine easier to follow every time.
Three habits cover most of it. Swab the stopper before every draw, keep mixed vials in the fridge and out of the light, and label each vial with what’s in it, the concentration and the date.
