How NAD+ works
NAD+ shuttles electrons in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle and the mitochondrial chain, so it’s needed to turn food into ATP. It’s also used up by sirtuins, which regulate gene expression, and by PARPs, which repair DNA.
Because those enzymes consume it, NAD+ levels depend on constant recycling. Falling levels with age are linked to lower sirtuin activity, which is the basis for most NAD+ aging research.

NAD+ dissolves readily in bacteriostatic water. A 500mg vial with 5mL gives 100mg/mL. Swirl, don’t shake, since shaking only adds foam. Store sealed vials cold and dry, and keep mixed vials in the fridge.
