What is Certified Peptides GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.

Loren Pickart first isolated GHK in 1973. It binds copper tightly and can hand it to cells, which matters because copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin.

Certified Peptides GHK-Cu products and prices

The 100mg vial is the standard research format. GHK-Cu capsules suit oral studies. The raw powder gives you 1,000mg for formulation work at under a tenth of the vial’s price per milligram.

GHK-Cu research

Pickart has published reviews of GHK-Cu’s effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies. Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers. Start with this PubMed search for GHK-Cu.

How Certified Peptides GHK-Cu is tested

Every batch is made in the USA and tested by an independent U.S. lab: identity by mass spectrometry, content, and purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to a 99%+ standard, plus endotoxin, heavy metal and sterility screens. On most products the report for the batch in stock is in the photo gallery.
