Certified Peptides tirzepatide: the GLP2-T range explained
Certified Peptides tirzepatide is sold under the catalog name GLP2-T, in 10mg, 30mg and 60mg vials. Here is what tirzepatide is, how it compares with the other GLP-1 compounds, and which size to pick.

What is Certified Peptides tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid peptide from Eli Lilly that activates two receptors, GIP and GLP-1. A fatty acid side chain lets it bind albumin, so its half-life is about five days. It’s approved as Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes and as Zepbound for weight management.
We label it GLP2-T, the same way GLP1-S is our semaglutide and GLP3-R is our retatrutide. The product pages name the compound in full.
Certified Peptides tirzepatide sizes and prices
- GLP2-T 10mg: $124
- GLP2-T 30mg: $140
- GLP2-T 60mg: $210
Price per milligram falls fast as the vial gets bigger: $12.40 per mg at 10mg, $4.67 at 30mg and $3.50 at 60mg. The 60mg vial is on sale right now.

How tirzepatide works
Tirzepatide activates two incretin receptors. GIP and GLP-1 are both released by the gut after eating, and both push the pancreas to release insulin when glucose is high. GLP-1 also slows stomach emptying and acts on appetite centers in the brain.
The molecule is built on the GIP sequence and tuned to hit the GLP-1 receptor as well. It leans toward GIP in binding strength. A C20 fatty diacid lets it ride on albumin, so it lasts days instead of minutes.
Tirzepatide research
The SURMOUNT-1 trial (New England Journal of Medicine, 2022) reported average weight loss of up to about 21% over 72 weeks at the highest dose. The SURPASS trials covered blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes. For the trial papers, start with this PubMed search for tirzepatide.
Tirzepatide vs the other GLP-1 compounds
- GLP1-S (semaglutide) acts on the GLP-1 receptor only and lasts about a week.
- GLP2-T (tirzepatide) adds GIP receptor activity to GLP-1.
- GLP3-R (retatrutide) adds the glucagon receptor on top of both.
- Cagrilintide works through amylin receptors instead of the incretins.

How Certified Peptides tirzepatide is tested
Every batch is made in the USA and tested by an independent U.S. lab: identity by mass spectrometry, content, and purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to a 99%+ standard, plus endotoxin, heavy metal and sterility screens. On most products the report for the batch in stock is in the photo gallery.
